The community of Bellingham, Washington is mourning the death of Mark Bunch, who passed away in a tragic car accident, leaving behind heartbroken loved ones, friends, and family members still struggling with the loss.
Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mark later made his home in Bellingham, where he worked at Lister Chain & Forge. He studied at Thomas B. Doherty High School and later attended Pikes Peak Community College. Those who knew him remembered him as someone who valued family, relationships, and the people closest to him. He was also in a relationship with Mindy Marie since August 2023.
The tragedy surrounding Mark’s death continued to weigh heavily on the Bunch family in the months that followed. More than a year later, his sister Jamie Novick, a Colorado Springs flight nurse, also lost her life in a medical transport airplane crash in New Mexico. Their father, Greg Bunch, shared an emotional tribute remembering both of his oldest children and the unimaginable grief their family has endured.
